What Makes WV Awards Different
Recognition should be earned, not influenced. That belief built WV Awards in 2019. Born from Wedding Vows, India's most trusted wedding media platform, it was created to give the industry a recognition system it could actually trust. Every edition since has only sharpened that promise.

Secure your nomination slot with the category entry fee. Multiple categories can be checked out together.

Guidelines & Downloads
Everything you need to submit a complete, compliant, and competitive nomination. Read all guidelines carefully before submitting.
- All nominations must be submitted through the official WV Awards portal before the deadline.
- Entries must represent work completed between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2026.
- A single project may be entered into a maximum of three categories.
- All information submitted must be accurate. False entries will be disqualified without refund.
- Participants may not contact jury members directly. Any such attempt will result in immediate disqualification.
- The decision of the jury and organising committee is final and binding.
- WV Awards reserves the right to use submitted materials for editorial and promotional purposes.
- AV presentations must be submitted in MP4 format (H.264 codec), minimum 1080p resolution.
- Maximum video duration: 5 minutes. Videos exceeding this limit will be truncated by the system.
- File size limit: 2GB per video file.
- Audio must be in AAC format, minimum 128 kbps bitrate.
- Do not include copyrighted music without a valid licence — entries with unlicensed audio will be disqualified.
- Videos must not contain third-party logos, watermarks, or external branding.
- Subtitles or on-screen text must be in English or Hindi.
- Storyboards must follow the official WV Awards template (downloadable below).
- Maximum 12 frames per storyboard. Each frame must include a caption (max 40 words).
- Submit storyboards as PDF only. Minimum resolution: 150 DPI for all embedded images.
- Storyboards should narrate the creative concept, execution journey, and final result.
- Do not include client names or identifiable personal information in storyboard captions.
The following documents are required for all categories unless otherwise specified in the category detail:
- Minimum 10 high-resolution project images (JPG/PNG, minimum 2MB each, max 25MB each).
- Written project brief — concept, challenges, execution, and outcome (max 800 words, PDF format).
- Client approval letter on official letterhead, signed and dated.
- GST certificate or business registration proof (for companies).
- AV presentation or video reel (as per AV Guidelines above).
- Storyboard document (as per Storyboard Guidelines above).
- Completed submission declaration form (available on portal).
- Open to all Indian wedding industry professionals, businesses, and studios.
- International companies with significant India operations may apply with special approval.
- Individual professionals must have a minimum of 2 years of active industry experience.
- Nominated projects must have been delivered to real paying clients (not internal or speculative work).
- Previous WV Award winners may nominate again but cannot win the same category consecutively.
- Employees of WV Media and jury members are not eligible to nominate.
- Nomination fees are non-refundable once the submission portal has been accessed.
- WV Awards is not responsible for technical failures during upload. Allow sufficient time before the deadline.
- By submitting, participants grant WV Media the right to use submitted content for editorial, promotional, and archival purposes.
- All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
- WV Awards reserves the right to modify, cancel, or postpone any category at its discretion.
